Cleaning the compressor during
operation

Fulfil operating state prerequisites for cleaning compressors with XC4
without fail before cleaning.
Open cover (05) of cleaning medium vessel (01).
Fill with clean water.
Screw down cover (05).
Open valve (06) for about 3 minutes.
Close valve (06) and check that all water has been sucked out.
After cleaning, wait at least 5 minutes with engine running to allow tur-
bocharger to dry.
If the cleaning operation is not satisfactory, it may be repeated up to
two times.
If the cleaning result is still not satisfactory after three attempts and the
engine values are also unsatisfactory, we recommend that you have the
turbocharger inspected and cleaned by an official ABB Turbocharging
Service Station.
