2 - Characteristics
Remote switch-on/switch-off
This command can be used to switch off/switch on the inverter via an
external (remote) command.
This function must be enabled in the menu and when active, switching on
the inverter, besides being dictated by the presence of normal paramet-
ers which allow the inverter to be connected to the grid, also depends on
the external command for switching on/off.
Remote Firmware Update Function
The inverter rmware can be updated remotely using the internal web-
server dedicated section.
Reactive power feed into the grid
The inverter is able to produce reactive power and can feed this power
into the grid via the phase factor setting. Managing the feed can be con-
trolled directly by the grid company via a dedicated RS485 serial inter-
face or set by the display or through the conguration software, Aurora
Manager Lite.
Power feeding modes vary according to the country of installation and
the grid companies. For detailed information on the parameters and

Limiting the active power fed into the grid
The inverter, if enabled and set using the display or the Aurora Manager
conguration software, can limit the amount of active power fed into the
grid by the inverter to the desired value (expressed as a percentage).
