  • Safety Precautions:
    • Always drive carefully and be aware of others.
    • Always use pedestrian crossings where possible.
    • Do not drive on slopes exceeding 8 degrees or take extreme care when turning on slopes.
    • Do not use full power when turning sharp corners.
    • Take great care and drive in low speed when backing up, riding downhill, or on uneven surfaces and climbing curbs.
    • Use the lowest speed when driving through descending road or uneven terrain.
    • The weight capacity limit must be adhered to.
    • A slow speed must always be used when ascending, descending, or traversing a slope or incline and also on uneven terrain, ramps, and soft or loose surfaces, such as gravel or grass.
    • To prevent any danger, do not turn around at high speed while ascending or descending a ramp.
    • Scooter may not operate well in high humidity.
    • Do not leave the powered scooter in a rain storm of any kind.
    • Direct exposure to rain or dampness can cause the scooter to malfunction electrically and mechanically, and may cause the powered scooter to prematurely rust.
    • Never put scooter in neutral when staying on slopes.
    • Follow traffic laws when riding outside.
    • When scooter is on moving transport vehicles, do not sit or stay on scooter.
  • Adjustments:
    • Tiller Angle Adjustment: The tiller can be adjusted upward to disengage the pin. It can also be adjusted fore-and-aft to the most comfortable angle, and a release cap can be used to fully engage the pin to lock the tiller in position.
    • Seat Rotation Adjustment: The seat can be lifted to disengage the pin and rotated to the most comfortable angle. A release lever is used to lock the seat in position.
    • Armrest Adjustment: Armrests can be adjusted for length and height using a knob and screw.
    • Seat Height Adjustment: The seat post can be adjusted to desired heights (520mm / 545mm / 570mm) by adjusting a screw, nut, and washer.
  • Disassembly: The scooter is designed for easy disassembly into 7 main parts for transport. This includes removing the seat, battery pack, front and rear frame, and folding the tiller.
  • Electromagnetic Interference (EMI): Powered wheelchairs and motorized scooters are susceptible to electromagnetic interference. Users are advised to be aware of potential sources of EMI (radio stations, TV stations, amateur radio, cellular phones, two-way radios) and to avoid operating the scooter near these sources. The scooter has an immunity level of 20 V/m. Users should be aware that adding accessories or components, or modifying the scooter, may make it more susceptible to EMI.

Maintenance Features:

  • Battery Charging: The scooter uses two sealed, maintenance-free 12V, 22Ah rechargeable batteries. Batteries must be charged before using the scooter for the first time and should be recharged after each day's use. The power switch should be in the OFF position and the free-wheeling lever in the freewheel mode.
    • Charging is indicated by an ORANGE light (charging) and a GREEN light (fully charged).
    • Allow batteries to charge until the indicator turns green. A first initial charge of 24 hours is recommended, followed by 12 hours after every use.
    • After the indicator turns green, unplug the battery charger from the scooter and wall outlet.
    • If the battery charger light flashes green over 40 minutes, it indicates abnormal charging. Check if the charger plug is correctly positioned, if the scooter is turned off, and if there are any problems with the local authorized dealer.
    • CAUTION: The time needed to recharge will vary depending on the depletion of the batteries. Charging for longer than necessary will not harm the batteries. They can not be overcharged.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides a table of common issues, their descriptions, and meanings, along with suggested actions. These include:
    • Battery Low/Low Battery Fault: Recharge batteries for a minimum of 12 hours.
    • High Battery Fault: Battery voltage is too high, possibly due to overcharging or traveling down a long slope. Reduce speed on slopes. Check battery connections.
    • Current Limit Time-Out: Motor exceeding maximum current rating. Check motor and connections, turn controller off, and restart.
    • Park Brake Fluid: Park brake release switch active or faulty. Check park brake and connections.
    • Throttle OONAPU: Throttle out of neutral when turning controller on. Ensure throttle is in neutral; may require re-calibration.
    • Speed Pot Fault: Throttle, speed limit pot, or wiring faulty. Check connections.
    • Motor Voltage Fault: Motor or wiring faulty. Check connections.
    • Other Error: Controller internal fault. Check all connections and wiring.
    • For further issues not resolved by troubleshooting, contact the authorized dealer (page 2) with the serial number.
  • General Maintenance:
    • Charge batteries after each trip. If the scooter is not used for some time, batteries may lose their charge; they should be charged at least once a month.
    • Check the battery gauge before driving to prevent power depletion.
    • Batteries have an aging phenomenon, where storage capacity gradually decreases. If batteries are damaged, wrap them in a plastic bag and contact your local dealer for proper disposal.
    • Do not disassemble battery and open sealed parts by yourself to prevent electric shock and burns from acid leakage.
    • If storing your scooter for a long time (1 month or more), make sure that batteries are fully charged, then disconnect the two batteries plugs (W), and store the scooter in a dry location.
  • Warranty: The scooter comes with a twelve-month warranty from the date of purchase.
    • Warranty Conditions:
      • Any work or replacement part installation must be carried out by an authorized service agent.
      • To apply for warranty, contact the authorized dealer.
      • Any part requiring repair or full or part replacement due to a manufacturing or material defect within the warranty period will be carried out free of charge.
      • Warranty period: Frame: 2 year limited warranty; Electronic parts: 12 months limited warranty; Batteries: 6 month limited warranty.
      • Any repaired or replaced parts are covered by this warranty for the balance of the warranty period on the scooter.
      • Parts replaced after the original warranty has expired are covered by a three months warranty.
      • Consumable items supplied will not generally be covered during the normal warranty period unless such items require repair or replacement clearly as a direct result of a manufacturing or material defect. Such items include (among others): upholstery, tyres, and batteries.
      • The above warranty conditions apply to brand new scooters purchased at the full retail price. If unsure whether your scooter is covered, check with the authorized dealer.
      • Under normal circumstances, no responsibility will be accepted where the scooter has failed as a direct result of: The scooter part not having been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Failure to use the manufacturer's specified parts. The scooter or part having been damaged due to neglect, accident or improper use. The scooter or part having been altered from the manufacturer's specifications or repairs having been attempted before the service agent is notified.
    • Important Note: Please notify your authorized dealer contact details on page 2. In the event of your scooter requiring attention, contact them and give all relevant details so they can act quickly.
    • The manufacturer reserves the right to alter, without notice, any weights, measurements or other technical data shown in this manual. All figures, measurements and capacities shown in this manual are approximate and do not constitute specifications.
