Lancing Device and Meter Setup

Adjusting Lancing Depth

Set the lancing depth using the cap, with 1 for sensitive skin and 5 for thicker skin.

Loading and Preparing Lancets

Pull off the cap, insert a drum with 6 lancets, ensure it's seated, and replace the cap.

Inserting Test Strip

Remove a test strip, ensuring the gold side faces the meter, and insert it without pressing buttons.

Performing Blood Glucose Test

Initiating Measurement

Push the test strip fully into the meter to turn it on, then touch the lancing device to the finger.

Lancing and Blood Application

Poke the finger, squeeze gently for blood if needed, and apply blood to the yellow end of the test strip.

Completing the Test

Pull the test strip to turn off the meter after obtaining the result and advance the lancet.

Lancet Drum Management

The lancet counter decreases with use; replace the entire drum when it reaches '1'.

Lancet Drum Replacement and Reminders

Replacing the Lancet Drum

Remove the cap, pull out the used lancet drum, and dispose of it safely in a sharps box.

Important Usage Guidelines

Use all 6 lancets before changing drums, wash hands, do not share the device, and check battery status.

Test Strip Expiration

Always check the expiration date on the test strip bottle and do not use expired strips.
