Base Cover Removal 0
1. Remove twelve (12) screws from the base cover (Figure 1-3).

2. Using a scribe, carefully pry open the base cover starting from the gap between the
base cover and top assembly next to the LCD hinge (as indicated in yellow)
(Figure 1-4).
3. Slide the scribe along the edges of the base cover in the direction indicated until all
the latches have been released (Figure 1-4).
