Function Description:
The Acer Z321QU is an LCD monitor designed for display purposes, supporting various resolutions and refresh rates. It features G-SYNC technology for enhanced gaming performance when paired with compatible NVIDIA graphics cards. The monitor allows for adjustments to screen position, display settings, and includes power-saving modes.

Usage Features:
- Screen Position Adjustment:
- Height Adjustment: The monitor's height can be adjusted by pressing down on the top of the monitor.
- Tilt: The screen can be tilted from -5° to 25°.
- Power Saving: The monitor supports a "Power Saving" mode, indicated by an amber LED light. The display controller is driven by an amber-color power LED. Power saving states are kept until a control signal is detected or the keyboard/mouse is activated. Recovery time from Active OFF state back to ON state is approximately 3 seconds.
- External Controls (Joystick): A single toggle button on the backside of the display bezel functions as a joystick for OSD navigation.
- Power Button: Turns the monitor on/off. Blue LED for power on, Amber for standby/power saving.
- Function Key 1 (Hotkey1): Press to view Main page, then again to enter hotkey1 function. When OSD is active, it shows basic monitor info and resets custom color settings.
- Function Key 2 (Hotkey2): Press to view Main page, then again to enter hotkey2 function. When OSD is active, it selects scenario mode or game mode.
- Function Key 3 (Input Select): Press to view Main page, then again to enter Input select function. When OSD is active, it quits the OSD.
- Function Key 4 (Menu/Navigation): Press to view Main page, then again to enter the next function in the Function Menu. Toggling the joystick moves the cursor, pressing it selects an option.
- On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu:
- Main Page: Provides access to Hotkey1 (Modes, Brightness, Contrast, Blue Light, Saturation, Volume, Over Drive, Gamma), Hotkey2 (Modes, Brightness, Contrast, Blue Light, Saturation, Volume, Over Drive, Gamma), Input selection, and Menu OSD.
- Picture Settings: Adjusts Brightness (0-100), Contrast (0-100), Blue Light (80%, 70%, 60%, 50%), Dark Boost, and Adaptive Contrast.
- Color Settings: Adjusts Gamma (2.2 default), Color Temp (Warm default), Red Color, Green Color, Blue Color, Saturation (0-100), and 6-axis Color (Chroma of red, green, blue, cyan, yellow, magenta).
- Audio Settings: Adjusts Volume (70 default).
- Gaming Settings: Adjusts Over Drive (Off, Normal, Extreme), Over Clock (allows higher refresh rates, requires NVIDIA Control Panel setup after reboot), and Aim Point (shows an aim point for shooting games).
- OSD Settings: Sets Language, OSD Timeout, Transparency (0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% in gaming mode), and Refresh Rate Num (displays current refresh rate).
- System Settings: Selects Input source (DP, HDMI), Ambient Light (lighting effects, color, style), Hot Key Assignment (for shortcut keys 1 and 2), Wide Mode (Aspect, 1:1), Deep Sleep (On/Off, monitor enters sleep after 12 mins of no HDMI/DP input), Quick Start Mode (On/Off for faster boot), and Power-off USB charge (On/Off).
- Save Setting to... (User mode only): Allows saving current settings to three user-defined profiles (Action, Racing, Sports) for Game mode.
- Accessibility: Power outlet should be easily accessible.
- Safe Listening: Gradually increase volume, limit high-volume listening, avoid turning up volume to block noise, and turn down volume if you can't hear others speaking.
- Vision Care: Rest eyes frequently, take breaks, blink often, keep display clean, position head higher than display top, adjust brightness/contrast, eliminate glare (side-facing window, drapes, task light, viewing angle, glare-reduction filter, display visor), avoid awkward viewing angles and bright light sources.
- Work Habits: Take short breaks, perform stretching exercises, breathe fresh air, exercise regularly.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Always unplug the monitor before cleaning. Use a soft cloth to wipe the screen and cabinet front and sides.
- Troubleshooting (HDMI/DP Mode):
- No picture visible (Blue LED): Adjust brightness/contrast via OSD or reset to default.
- No picture visible (Off LED): Check power switch, AC power cord connection.
- No picture visible (Amber LED): Check video signal cable connection, ensure computer system is on and not in power saving/standby mode.
