  Poor cooling performance in your ACIQ Air Handler can stem from several factors. The heat exchanger on either the indoor or outdoor unit might be dirty, requiring cleaning. A blocked air inlet or outlet needs clearing after you turn the unit off and then on again. Open doors and windows should be closed during operation. Excessive heat from sunlight can be managed by closing windows and curtains. Too many heat sources in the room should be reduced. Finally, low refrigerant levels due to leaks or long-term use necessitate checking for leaks, resealing if needed, and topping off the refrigerant.
