  • H.264 High Profile/MJPEG Multi-Codec Dual Streaming: The D11 supports two compression formats, H.264 High Profile and MJPEG, delivering superior image quality at 30 frames per second up to 720p (1280 x 720) and VGA (640 x 480) resolutions.
  • Built-in Hardware Motion Detection: Eliminates the need for external motion sensors. Users can define up to three video motion detection areas and tune object size and sensitivity for reliable detection. Hardware motion detection offers better sensitivity and faster response times compared to software detection.
  • Powerful Bundled Surveillance Software: The camera comes with a free surveillance program that allows users to convert an existing PC into a digital video recorder. Features include scheduled and manual recording, reliable motion detection with instant warnings, and quick search and playback functions.
  • Software Development Kit (SDK) Support: The D11 can be integrated or controlled by third-party software applications. ACTi provides a Streaming Library or ActiveX control to assist developers, saving considerable effort.

Maintenance Features:

  • Reset Button: A reset button is available on the device. Pressing and holding it for 15 seconds after the unit has booted will reset the device to factory default settings. The Ethernet LED will indicate the completion of the reset process.
  • Servicing: Do not attempt to service the device yourself. Opening or removing covers may expose users to dangerous voltage or other hazards. All servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
  • Safety Check: After any service or repairs, a safety check should be performed by a service technician to ensure the device is in proper operating condition.
  • Cleaning: Disconnect the video product from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Connectivity: The camera connects to the Ethernet via a standard RJ45 connector, supporting NWAY for auto-detection of 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet speeds. It is designed to be powered over Ethernet (PoE Class 1, IEEE802.3af).
  • IP Address Configuration: For networks with a DHCP server/router, the camera will automatically acquire an IP address. For networks without DHCP, the user must manually configure the PC's IP address to the same subnet (e.g., 192.168.0.XXX) and then access the camera via its default IP (192.168.0.100). If multiple devices are used, their IP addresses must be changed to unused static IPs to avoid conflicts.
  • Firmware Access Browser: The device firmware can be accessed and configured using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer.
