7. Was no setting made, the device returns after 4 seconds to standby. The current
setting will be repeated.
Setting the Operation Mode
The answering machine offers 3 different modes, from which you can choose easily:
• Recording Mode
• Message Only
• Answering Machine Off (Æ Switching On/Off The Answering Machine)
You can choose between the modes optional, without deleting, changing or
destroying any message/record or memo.
If you don’t store any personal messages (1 and 2), the default outgoing messages
will be used automatically.
Operating Mode 1: Message and Recording
Default outgoing message 1: BITTE HINTERLASSEN SIE EINE NACHRICHT NACH
DEM SIGNAL (PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE AFTER THE BEEP)
Operating Mode 2: Message Only
Default outgoing message 2: BITTE RUFEN SIE SPAETER AN. (PLEASE CALL
BACK LATER)
Playback of Default outgoing Messages:
Press rewind key i (27) while the device is in standby. The current outgoing
message is heard.
To change the Operation Mode, shortly press the On/Off key 3 (29).
A beep is heard and the current Operation Mode: ANSAGE EINE (OUTGOING
MESSAGE ONE) or ANSAGE ZWEI (OUTGOING MESSAGE TWO) is displayed.
Recording a New Outgoing Message
You can personalize the outgoing message:
1. Change the working mode of the device, i.e. “Message and Recording” – (OGM
1) or “Message Only“ (OGM 2).
2. Press rewind key i (27) longer than one second while standby mode. You are
hearing a signal tone and the LED message lamb is flashing (21).
3. Now speak your outgoing message.
4. Did you end your message, shortly press the On/Off key 3 (29). The recorded
outgoing message will be repeated.
