4. CONTROLS
Key A: light switch.
Key B: fi rst speed motor ON/OFF switch.
Key C: second speed switch / Alarm ON-OFF.
If the hood is in off state, when pressed for 3
seconds, it TURNS ON the Charcoal fi lters
Alarm (Led L2 fl ashes twice).
Additional press on 3 seconds shall turn OFF
the alarm (Led L2 fl ashes once). The alarm
as default shall be disables.
Key D: third speed switch / Reset.
If the hood is in off state, when pressed for
3 seconds, it shall RESET the Filter Alarm
(grease fi lters and charcoal fi lters), and Led
L3 fl ashes three times.
Key E: intensive speed switch / Remote
Control.
If the motor is running, activates the Intensive
speed for 6 minutes (Led 4 on); at the end of
this time, the hood turns back automatically
to the speed that was set before using this
function.
If the hood is in off state, when pressed for 3
seconds, it enables/disable the IR communi-
cation with remote control. When the remote
controle is switched on, the Led 4 fl ashes
twice, when the remote controle is switched
off, the Led 4 fl ashes once.
Led L5: Filter Alarm.
When Led L5 are on, the grease fi lters must
be cleaned (40 hours of operation). When
Led L5 fl ashing, the charcoal fi lters must be
replaced (160 hours of operation) and the
grease fi lters must be cleaned. Obviously, if
the hood is not a fi ltering model and does not
have a charcoal fi lters, clean only the grease
fi lters. The fi lter alarm can be seen for about
30 seconds.
To RESET the hour counter, press for 3 se-
conds Key D, when the hood is in off state.
5. INSTALLATION
METHODS
FILTERING OR DUCTING VERSION ?
The hood may be in fi ltering or in ducting
version. Decide from the outset which type is
to be installed.
For better effi ciency, we recommend installing
the hood in the ducting version (if possible).
Ducting version
The hood purifi es the air and evacuates it to
the outside through an exhaust duct.
Filtering version
The hood purifi es the air and recycles the
clean air back into the room.
6. LIGHTING
If the light spot is damaged, it must be re-
placed only by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualifi ed persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
7. ENVIRONMENTAL
CONCERNS
Recycle materials with the symbol .
Put the packaging in relevant containers
to recycle it. Help protect the environment and
human health by recycling waste of electrical
and electronic appliances. Do not dispose of
appliances marked with the symbol
with the household waste.
Return the product to your local recycling
facility or contact your municipal offi ce.
