Usage Features

  • Activation/Deactivation: Touch the ON/OFF sensor field for 1 second.
  • Heat Setting: Adjust by touching the control bar or sliding a finger along it. Heat settings range from 1 to 14.
  • Automatic Switch Off: The hob deactivates automatically if no heat setting is selected, if something spills on the control panel, if it overheats, if incorrect cookware is used, or if a cooking zone is left unattended for an extended period.
  • Automatic Heat Up: Activates the cooking zone at the highest setting initially, then reduces to the desired heat setting for faster cooking.
  • PowerBoost: Provides extra power to induction cooking zones for a limited time, useful for boiling large quantities of water.
  • Count Down Timer: Sets a specific operating time for a cooking zone (00-99 minutes).
  • CountUp Timer: Monitors how long a cooking zone has been operating.
  • Minute Minder: Functions as a separate timer when cooking zones are not in use.

  • Cookware Compatibility: Requires cookware made of cast iron, steel, enamelled steel, stainless steel, or multi-layer bottoms with an induction-compatible mark. Cookware made of aluminium, copper, brass, glass, ceramic, or porcelain is not suitable. Cookware bottom must be thick and flat.

Maintenance Features

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean the hob after each use to prevent deterioration of the surface material.
  • Cool Down: Deactivate the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  • Power Disconnection: Disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply before maintenance.
  • Cleaning Agents: Use a moist soft cloth and neutral detergents. Avoid water spray, steam cleaners, abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, solvents, or metal objects.
  • Special Scraper: Use a special scraper for the glass surface to remove melted plastic, sugar, or food with sugar immediately (take care to avoid burns).
  • Limescale/Water/Fat Stains: Remove when the hob is sufficiently cool using a moist cloth and non-abrasive detergent.
  • Shiny Metallic Discoloration: Clean with a solution of water and vinegar.
  • Cookware Care: Always use cookware with a clean bottom. Lift cookware when moving it to prevent scratches.
  • Environmental Concerns: Recycle packaging materials and dispose of the appliance at a local recycling facility, not with household waste.
