Getting the best results
Use nozzles as follows:
Carpets and hardoors:
For carpets use the combination oor nozzle* with
lever in position (32a)
For Hard oors, use the combination oor nozzle
with lever in position (32b). Make sure the brushes on
the nozzle are down to prevent scratching the oor
surface.
Reduce suction power for short pile small carpets.
With the Dust Magnet* nozzle there is normally no
need to switch mode (33a). It can be used with brush
up on all surfaces for maximum convenience with
maintained excellent dust removal result. The (33b)
brush setting should be used to reach optimal dust
removal on dicult hard oors or to get a combing
eect on carpets.
Wooden oors: Use the parquet nozzle* (34).
Upholstered furniture and fabrics: Use the upholstery
nozzle* (35) for sofas, curtains, lightweight fabrics
etc. Reduce suction power if necessary.
Crevices, corners, etc.: Use the crevice nozzle* (36).
Using the turbo nozzle*
37a/b Ideal for carpets and wall-to-wall carpeting
to remove stubborn u and pet hairs.
Note: Do not use the turbo nozzle on animal skin rugs
or carpet fringes. To avoid damaging the carpet, do not
keep the nozzle stationary whilst the brush is rotating.
Do not pass the nozzle across electric cables, and be sure
to switch o the vacuum cleaner immediately after use.

Optimaler Einsatz der Bürsten
Düsen wie folgt einsetzen:
Teppiche und Hartböden:
Für Teppiche die Kombinationsbodendüse* mit dem
Hebel in Stellung (32a) verwenden.
Für Hartböden die Kombinationsbodendüse mit dem
Hebel in Stellung (32b) verwenden. Sicherstellen,
dass die Bürsten an der Düse ausgeklappt sind, um
Kratzer im Boden zu vermeiden.
Bei kleinen Teppichen Saugleistung reduzieren.
Die Dust-Magnet*-Düse muss normalerweise
nicht umgeschaltet werden (33a). Sie kann mit ein-
gezogener Bürste auf allen Oberächen verwendet
werden und bietet dadurch größtmöglichen Komfort
bei hervorragender Saugleistung. Die Bürstenstel-
lung (33b) wird nur bei schwierigen Hartböden zum
Erreichen einer optimalen Saugleistung oder zum
Erzielen eines Kämmeekts auf Teppichen benötigt.
Holzböden: Parkettdüse* (34) verwenden.
Polstermöbel und Stoe: Für Sofas, Vorhänge, leichte
Stoe usw. Polsterdüse* (35) verwenden. Gegebe-
nenfalls Saugleistung reduzieren.
Fugen, Ecken usw.: Fugendüse* (36) verwenden.
Verwendung der Turbodüse*
37a/b Ideal für die Entfernung von hartnäckigen
Flusen und Tierhaaren von Teppichen und
Teppichböden.
Hinweis: Turbodüse nicht auf Vorlegern aus Tierhaut
oder Teppichfransen verwenden. Um Schäden am
Teppich zu vermeiden, Düse bei rotierender Bürste nicht
auf einer Stelle lassen. Düse nicht über elektrische Kabel
führen und Staubsauger unmittelbar nach der Verwen-
dung ausschalten.
