Ensure vehicle is parked on level ground, set parking brake, and cool engine if recently run. Disconnect battery terminal.
Disconnect EVAP/crank case vent connectors, pop coolant hose, loosen throttle body clamp, and remove air box assembly.
Install edge trim on heat shield, attach air filter adapter, and secure air filter to the adapter using hose clamp.
Position inlet pipes for fitment, check hood clearance, inspect engine bay for tools, and reconnect battery.
Clean air filter element every 100,000 miles; use window cleaner for intake tubes. Avoid aluminum polish.
