3. Installation of AEM
®
intake system.
a. When installing the intake system, do not completely tighten the hose clamps or mounting hardware until
instructed to do so.
a. Cut two 9.5” lengths from small edge trim and install
on boom of heat shield on opposite ends, as shown.
Install remaining length on the third edge as shown.
b. Install air lter adapter onto heat shield with provided
hardware as shown.
c. Install large edge trim onto top of heat shield, starng
from a corner, working around unl secured.
d. Install and secure air lter to air lter adapter using
the provided large hose clamp.
