There might be inadequate material flow from the truck or hopper, so you should increase the flow of material. If the flow into the hopper is restricted, clear the grating of obstructions. Note that unloading rates are designed for dry grain; if the material is too wet or heavy, this could be the cause. Finally, inspect the flighting for wear and repair or replace as needed.

Why the flighting does not turn in AGI Tools?

  If the flighting in your AGI Tools isn't turning, several issues could be the cause. First, the auger flighting might be plugged or obstructed; identify and remove any obstructions. Second, the coupler bolt below the non-rotating section could be broken or missing; replace the bolt. A seized bearing can also prevent turning; identify the bearing and replace it. A broken chain will also stop the flighting; identify the chain and repair or replace it. If the gearbox is seized, fix or replace the gearbox. Also, check the gearbox coupler bolt; if it is broken or missing, replace it. Lastly, a failed PTO shear bolt can cause this issue, so replace both PTO shear bolts.

  If your AGI Tools auger is lifting slowly, it could be due to inadequate hydraulic pressure from the source. Consider using an alternate hydraulic pressure source and contact your local dealer for assistance. Also, if the auger lowers faster than it lifts, the check valve may be installed in the opposite direction. Lower the auger to the transport position and inspect the check valve; reinstall it in the opposite direction if required, following the indicator arrow on the valve.
