STEP 2. Meet Electrical and Environmental Requirements
STEP 2. Meet Electrical and Environmental Requirements
1. Ensure the available AC power source
meets the following requirements:
2. Ensure the operating environment meets
the following requirements:
CAUTION This instrument has
autoranging line voltage
input. Be sure the supply
voltage is within the specified
range.
The specified range for the power
requirements is:
•90 − 132 V
AC
•48 − 66 Hz / 400 Hz (single phase)
- or -
• 198 − 264 V
AC
•48 − 66 Hz (single phase)
The instrument power consumption is
600 VA maximum.
•0 to 40 °C
• 5% to 95% relative humidity at 40 °C
(non-condensing)
• 0 to 4,500 meters (0 to 14,760 feet)
altitude
NOTE Some analyzer performance
parameters are specified for
25 °C. Later, you can refer to
the Help system in the
analyzer for the complete
specifications.
3. Verify that the AC power cable is not damaged, and that the power-source outlet
provides a protective earth contact.
CAUTION Always use the three-prong AC power cord supplied with this product.
Failure to ensure adequate earth grounding by not using this cord may cause
product damage.
