Installing and Uninstalling the Battery Pack(s)
To prevent serious injury or death:
• Only place battery pack on clean surfaces. Avoid getting
dirt, e.g. sand or soil, in the charging port and contacts.
• Do not charge or use battery pack if it is damaged.

Your bike comes with a 48V lithium-ion battery. The bike’s battery
comes with a unique set of keys that are used to turn it on/off
as well as keep it unlocked/locked to the frame.
The battery has 2 key positions: LOCKED, and UNLOCKED. The
key lock is spring-loaded and will spring back to the LOCKED
position when not manually turned to UNLOCKED.

NOTE: Rear battery may be used with or without the front
battery inserted. You may insert the battery with or without
the keys in the battery. (If using dual batteries, insert the
front battery before inserting the rear battery).
