When you wish to conserve water, hold the hand-spray
head over the bowl and hold down the thumb-operated
lever. When depressing the pedal, all the water is
routed through the hand-spray.
note
When you dump the bowl of the toilet, make
sure all paper and solids have cleared the slide
mechanism before you allow it to close. Failure
to do so can cause the groove for the slide to
become jammed and the slide will no longer close
completely.

Galley Faucet Filter
An inline lter has been provided for the galley faucet
under the galley top. It can be accessed by opening the
galley cabinet door. Your dealer has been provided with
instructions on its installation. The unit is shipped with
a bypass line that should be used later for winterizing
the unit.
Normal Toilet Operation
To add water to the toilet bowl, press “Add Water”
switch (1) and hold until desired water level is
achieved. (Do not press “Add Water” switch too long or
overow may occur.) More water is usually added only
when ushing solids.
To ush the toilet, press the “Flush” switch (2) down
and hold for a few seconds after waste drains from
toilet bowl (about 5 seconds). This switch activates
a powerful macerator pump that siphons water and
waste from the bowl, macerates, and propels the
efuent through the discharge line/holding tank. To
use less water for liquid-only ushes, press the “Flush”
switch for shorter period of time.
During periods of rough travel, water in a toilet bowl
can splash out and into the bathroom area. To avoid
the situation, press the “Dry Bowl” switch (3) to drain
water completely from toilet bowl. Water is not added to
the bowl during or after pressing the “Dry Bowl” switch.
cAutIon
Do not ush waste with the “Dry Bowl” switch! To
maintain proper cleanliness and operation of the
toilet and macerator pump, water should be used
with every ush.
cAutIon
Do not ush foreign objects! Flush only water,
bodily wastes, and rapid-dissolving toilet tissue.
Do not ush wet wipes, sanitary napkins, condoms,
diapers, paper cups, cotton swabs, food, hair or
liquids such as oils or solvents as clogging or
damage to the toilet or toilet system can occur.

The RV toilet in your Airstream is a design that has
been used for many years. There are two pedals. The
large pedal opens and closes the slide mechanism,
and the smaller pedal opens and closes a water valve.
In normal use, when you are hooked up to city water,
both pedals are depressed together. This dumps the
