FOLLOW-UP
RECORDING
Start
at
a
point
before
recording
is
to
begin.
Depress
For-
ward
Button
(or
Reverse
Button)
and
let
the
tape
run.
At
the
point
recording
is
desired,
while
still
depressing
the
Forward
Button
(or
Reverse
Button),
depress
Recording
Button.
Confirm
here
that
this
will
cause
the
Recording
Indicator
Lamp
to
illuminate
in
red.
(Naturally,
the
machine
cannot
be
put
in
a
RECORDING
mode
unless
the
Recording
Lever
has
been
positioned
ON.)
Although
Follow-Up
Recording
requires
some
practice,
it
is
the
most
recommended
method
for
Recording
Start,
as
the
machine
is
put
into
the
RECORDING
mode
solely
by
electrical
changeover
operation
from
a
state
where
tape
travel
has
been
stabilized.
This
Follow-Up
Recording
is
even
more
effective
when
using
unused
tape,
or
tape
from
which
a
program
has
been
erased.
