Audio Tests
First connect some speakers or headphones to one of the headphone outs.
You will use this to monitor. You should have Windows set to use the MPC
as the audio driver too so you can hear the USB device connected “ding”
also.
Routing and Knob Setup
This unit will use loopback testing and cannot be made to do remote automation like
recent Numark tests since NK18, as each test will require switches or cables to be
changed. However there are not many tests and after learning the procedure this should
go quickly.
Knob Positions
Beginning set back switch to PHONO
The analogue knobs must be set to specific positions for the tests.
On the front, MIX is set to 12 o’clock (middle) and headphone VOL is all the way up
maxed.
The Top panel
REC GAIN is set to 9 o’clock, ¼ up
