Open the battery
compartment cover on the back of
the remote
control
(refer
to the illustration
below)-
Insert
three AAB6,
UM-3
or
equivalent size batteries
(refer
to the illustration
below).
Replace
the battery compartment
cover.
Note:

Use new
batteries only.

When replacing the
batteries,
replace
allthe batteries atthe
same time.
Do not mix an old battery with new
ones.

When
you
do
not
plan
to
use the remote control unit for
a
long
period
of time, remove the
batteries.

Insert the
batteries
following
the
polarity guides
(-
and
+)
in
the
battery compartment.
.
Nickel cadmium
(Ni-Cd)
batteries are not recommended.
When the remote
control's batteries are removed
or
have lost
theircharge
(as
indicated by LCdisplay
becomming dim, or by
the remote control's incapacity
to transmit data) the
clock
will
stop and all
programme
data
in
the
remote
controlwill be can-
celled after a
short time.
After replacing
the batteries,
use
the remote
control to reset
the clock
and
programme
data. lf the batteries
are
replaced
quickly,
after removing the
old batteries, the clock and
pro-
gramme
modes may
not be cancelled.
While
changing the batteries,
do
not
press
any of the remote
control
buttons.
Resetting
the
remote
control
lfthe
remote controlfails to
operate
properly,
itcan be reset
by
pressing
lhe reset button,located inside the
battery compart-
ment.
When the reset
button is
pressed,
all timer
programming
and
clock data will
be cancelled.
