No Sound
Static Sound
Sound is distorted
• Volume not turned up
• Signal reception too low.
• Volume is too high.
• Adjust the main volume.
• Adjust the antenna or move the unit to a stronger signal location.
• Adjust the main volume.
Cassette playback sound is
unsteady
• Dirty cassette heads
• Cassette damaged
• Use a tape head cleaner
• Try an alternative cassette
Cannot record to a cassette • Cassette erasure prevention tabs are broken • Use an alternative cassette
• Use sticky tape to cover the erasure prevention tab locations.
Unable to play a CD • No disc in the tray
• Disc not loaded properly
• Disc is dirty
• Insert a compatible disc
• Check the disc loaded
• Clean the disc
Unit enters STANDBY mode after
10 minutes (approx).
