10. CONFIGURATION
TheAldeSmartControlshouldbeconguredafterinstallation.Todoso,usetheAlde
Smart control App on your smartphone and go to the Settings Menu.
Enter the phone number to the SIM card inserted into the module (Smart Control Tel. No.)
and alerts phone number in the app, set the PIN code and type of heating system. The PIN
code is not the same as your SIM card PIN code. It is a PIN code you can use to avoid
that someone else sends your Alde Smart Control module an SMS text message. Press
Send, and also the send button for the SMS text message that shows up. The information
is saved and sent to the module.

11. TROUBLE SHOOTING
If your Alde Smart Control system does not answer when an SMS text message is sent from the
App, try the following:
1. Checkif12Visconnectedandreachesthemodule.Beawareofthecurrentusedbythesystem
wheninstandby,sodependingonthebatterystatusitcandrainyourbatteryafter1-2months.
2. Makesurethetemperaturewherethemoduleislocatedis>-30°C.
3. Check if there is a GSM signal close to the module, e.g. with another mobile phone.
4. Check if the antenna is connected to the module.
5. Removethe12Vfor5minutesandreconnectitagain.
6. If there is a high load on the GSM network it can take longer time until you get an answer from
the module.
7. Thebuttononthemoduleisashing.Thisisfullynormalonsomeoccasionsandwhenitstops
toashthesystemworksagain:
• Thesystemsometimesrestartsandthediodeisashingforapproximately1minute.
• Ifthemoduledoesnotnda2Gnetwork.
• IfthemoduledoesnotndtheSIMcard.
• IftheSIMcardhasbeentakenoutfromthemodulewithoutdisconnectingthe12V.
8. IfyougetanerrormessagesinanSMStextmessage,readtheAldepanelinstructiontondout
the root cause.
