Prepare workspace and verify all parts are present.
Attach brace bar and connect grass box sections.
Fit bracing bar into retainers and join grass box sections.
Secure grass box halves with bolts and screws.
Insert cover section and secure tabs to complete assembly.
Install fill indicator and connect the grass flap spring.
Attach the grass flap using the spring and securing bar.
Clip on end covers and set the height of cut lever.
Connect the lower and upper handles securely.
Install the recoil retaining hook for the starter rope.
Fasten cables and verify engine oil level.
Fill fuel tank and attach the grass box.
Observe fill indicator and set desired cutting height.
Prime engine, engage safety lever, and pull starter rope.
Release the front safety lever to stop the engine.
Push mower, engage drive, adjust handle height, and service wheel drive.
