Getting Started (Cont.)
Charging batteries
• Switch off the receiver headphone set.
• Place the headphone set on the transmitter, taking care to ensure that the
charge contacts touch the transmitter’s charge pins and the green charging
indicator is on.
• The charge process starts automatically. The green indicator light comes on and
will stay on during charging.
NOTE: Make sure to charge new batteries for 24 hours before using them for
the first time in the headphone set.
WARNING:
• The headphone set is designed for use with two rechargeable AAA size (LR03)
batteries only (supplied). Never use it with another type of battery or with non-
rechargeable batteries.
• Never attempt to recharge conventional (non-rechargeable) dry cell batteries.
• The batteries must be fully charged before first use. An initial 24 hour charge is
required to guarantee an acceptable service life for the rechargeable batteries.
• Always ensure that the headphone set is switched off while the batteries are
charging.
• When the headphone set is not in use, switch it off to avoid damaging the
batteries.
• When replacing the rechargeable batteries, or when disposing of the unit, make
sure to comply with any laws that apply in your area relating to the disposal of
batteries. Place the batteries in an appropriate disposal container to ensure that
they are eliminated safely and in an environmentally-friendly way, or contact
your local authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.
