WHEN USING NORMAL BATTERIES:
You can also use the FR-58 on normal (non-rechargeable) batteries.
Install these batteries the same way as indicated in the battery com-
partment.
Never place the radiophone with normal (non-rechargeable) batteries
in the charger and never connect an adapter to the radiophone. Nor-
mal batteries will be damaged when you try to charge them.
HEADSET OR EARPIECE:
The connection for a headset or earpiece is located on the right side
RIWKH)5EHKLQGWKHUXEEHUFRYHU+HUH\RX¶OODOVR¿QGDFRQ-
nection for the adapter. The batteries can be charged directly using
the adapter. When using this connection, the batteries may not be
charged longer than maximum 12 to 14 hours.
