What to do if my Alesis Air Compressor is dead (no LEDs, no audio)?
    • D
      dhunterJul 26, 2025
If your Alesis Air Compressor unit shows no LEDs and produces no audio, the issue might stem from several causes: * A faulty AC adapter: Verify the adapter provides a 9VAC output and replace it if it doesn't. * A broken power supply input jack: Inspect the jack and replace it if necessary. * For the 3630 model, a disconnected ribbon cable: Check the connection between the main PCB and the LED PCB (J5 to J9) and reseat it if needed. * A faulty component in the power supply circuitry: Examine electrolytic capacitors C1, C2, C25, and C34, diodes D1-D4, and regulators U1 and U8.

Why are all Gain Reduction LEDs on my Alesis Air Compressor 3630 on?
    • M
      Martha ChanAug 10, 2025
If all Gain Reduction LEDs are illuminated on your Alesis 3630 Air Compressor, it may be due to a failure of U18 on the LED PCB. Inspect U18 and replace it if necessary.
