Why is my Alesis SR-16 not receiving MIDI notes?
If your Alesis SR-16 is not receiving MIDI notes, the SR-16 "Drum In" might be turned off. Turn it on. Also, ensure that the MIDI channel and drum note assignments are set accordingly.
Why is there no display on my Alesis SR-16?
If your Alesis Drums have no display, the power switch may not be turned on. Push the power switch in. Also, check the power supply connections. If the issue persists, try a known good power supply.
