Before First use
Put the trivet (P) under the steaming basket (I).
Place the steaming basket in the PC8-PRECISION.
Fill the PC8-PRECISION to the two-thirds mark
(the maximum mark) with cold water.
Close the PC8-PRECISION.
Move the pressure selector to "prog 4".
Set the Smart Timer
®
for 20 minutes.
Place the PC8-PRECISION on a heat source set to
full power.
When the Smart Timer
®
beeps, this indicates to turn
the heat to low so there is a constant, yet gentle &
steady release of steam. Fig. 12
The steam cooking with pressure phase starts.
Once the steam cooking phase is finished, the Smart
Timer
®
beeps indicating to turn off the heat and
move the program selector (F) to PRESSURE
RELEASE - Fig. 8
Hot steam, and possibly droplets of water, escape from
the steam outlet (A) in a vertical direction.
The soft cooking phase starts (this time is already
programmed).
When the soft cooking phase is finished, the Smart
Timer beeps indicating that cooking is finished
.
To
stop beeping, simultaneously press the + and - buttons.
Check that the pressure indicator (D) has dropped
back down.
Raise the Open/Close handle to the vertical position
to open the lid.

Remove the Smart Timer

, wash and dry the
PC8-PRECISION.
Using PC8-PRECISION
Before cooking
• Every time you use your PC8-PRECISION, first
check that the control panel is correctly fitted and
tightened (using a coin) and check that the operating
valve (L) located inside the lid can move, by moving
the program selector (F) to "prog 1" and pressing the
valve with your finger. Fig. 17
