MIDI
A rear panel MIDI IN socket is provided. This lets you control the internal effects unit via MIDI. For example,
you could use a MIDI sequencer or controlling device to remotely change the preset type or bypass the effect.
Individual effects parameters can be changed and these loaded
back into the mixer to overwrite the factory default settings.
This is best done using the Allen & Heath MixWizard FX
Editor software running on a PC with MIDI port. You can
download this free from the Allen & Heath web site.
MIDI Channel Number - The factory default is MIDI channel 1.
To change this hold down the BANK key while powering up the
mixer.
While holding the BANK key use the SELECT key to step
through channels 1-16. The FX1-8 and BANK LEDs will light in
sequence. After cycling through MIDI channels 1 to 16, the
processor will then turn all channels on and then all off.
Release both BANK and SELECT keys when the required MIDI
channel is selected. The BANK LED will flash twice to confirm
channel change.
