      If all the LEDs on your Allied Telesis Switch are off: 1. Press the eco-friendly button on the front panel to check if the switch is in low power mode (LEDs off). You can also toggle the LEDs using the ECOFRIENDLY LED and NO ECOFRIENDLY LED commands in the Global Configuration mode of the command line interface. 2. Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the power source and the AC connector on the back of the switch. 3. Verify the power outlet is functional by connecting another device to it. 4. Try connecting the switch to a different power source. 5. Try using a different power cord. 6. Confirm that the voltage from the power source matches the required levels for your region.

      If your Allied Telesis Switch functions intermittently: * Use the SHOW SYSTEM ENVIRONMENT command in the Privileged Exec mode to check that the input voltage from the power source is stable and within the approved operating range. The unit will shut down if the voltage fluctuates outside this range. * For switches with a ventilation fan, use the SHOW SYSTEM ENVIRONMENT command in the Privileged Exec mode to ensure it's working correctly. * Make sure the switch has adequate airflow to prevent overheating, which can cause it to shut down.
