The
power take-off extension shaft
and
bearing carrier
can be
removed
for
overhaul after unbolting
the
carrier
and removing
the
coupling bolt
or
splitting
the
universal joint
at the
front
end of the
extension shaft.
The
extension shaft front
and
rear
oil
seals should
be
installed with
the
lips
facing
the
bearing.

power take-off idler
and
sliding gear housing
can be
removed
for overhaul after removing
the ex-
tension shaft
and
bearing carrier.

unit

dirt
or gum de-
posits.
The
dirt
may
enter from
the
housing.
