<DSP SURROUND OPERATION>
Manufacturer's Surround Presets
Using DSP, various listening environments can be duplicated mathematically.
Places such as a stadium or large concert hall are programmed to change your car's
acoustics to that of each listening environment. For your convenience, we have
provided 8 typical surround settings which can be used for a variety of musical
source material. These settings have been programmed into factory presets as
follows:
Pattern 1 (NORMAL)
Surround mode OFF
Duplicates the acoustics of a large concert hall
with limited reflections
Duplicates the acoustics of a large outdoor
stadium
Pattern 4 (CHURCH)
Duplicates the acoustics of a large cathedral
with high ceilings and many reflections
