Adjusting
the
Equalizer
Ty
Select
the
band
you
wish
to
adjust
by
pressing
one
of
the
Band
Selector
buttons
@.
For
example,
when
the
31.5
Hz
button
is
pressed,
the
display
for
the
31.5
Hz
band
flashes
for
approximately
5
seconds.
Press
the
Level
Control
Up
®
or
Down
@
button
to
adjust
to
the
desired
level
while
the
display
is
flashing.
Repeat
the
above
steps
to
adjust
the
other
bands.
Setting
the
User-Programmable
Equalization
Presets
8
different
types
of
Equalization
curves
and
Manufacturer's
surround
settings
can
be
memorized
at
the
same
time.

the
EQ/SUR
button

to
select
the
Equalizer
mode,
and
make
sure
the
EQ
indicator
©
lights
up.
Press
the
P/M
button
©
to
select
the
Private
Memory
mode,
and
make
sure
the
[P]
indicator
@
lights
up.
Set
your
desired
equalization
curve
using
the
Band
Selector
buttons
@
and
the
Up
©
and
Down
©
Level
Control
buttons
as
previously
explained
in
the
"Adjust-
ing
the
Equalizer"
section.
To
add
one
of
the
Manufacturer's
Surround
patterns,
follow
the
procedure
on
page
17
for
making
the
preset
selection.

This
step
can
be
skipped
to
memorize
the
Equalization
curve
only.
Press
the
EQ/SUR
button
@
again
to
select
the
Equalizer
mode.
Press
the
M.
SEL
button
@
to
select
the
MEMOry
1
or
2.
Press
and
hold
one
of
the
four
Preset
buttons
©
for
more
than
2
seconds.
The
display
will
flash
for
5
seconds
while
waiting
for
your
preset
input.
Press
the
Preset
button
©
in
which
you
wish
to
store
these
settings.
NOTE:
:
This
procedure
will
erase
the
information
previously
stored
in
that
preset
memory
location.
Repeat
steps
1
8
above
to
create
and
memorize
other
equalization
curves
(DSP
Surround
Settings).
