Normal Play (Repeat All)
1. Load the Disc into the slot @.
2. Thedigital display @® shows” LOAd "during loading operation then” 0000:00 “fora
second while the data on the disc is read. The first track on the disc will begin playback
and the display will show * 1 0:01.”
3. After the last track on the disc is played back, the pickup will return to the beginning of
the disc and begin playback from that point.
Pause
Press the>/§§ switch © to hold playback temporarily. The PAUSE indicator 4 will be on and
the playback stops, but the disc remains inside the player. To resume playback, press the
>/I switch © again.
Note:
If this CD playeris placed in the Pause mode by another interconnected unit (to activate the
tuner mode etc.) or a remote control, the display will show the track number and “PAU.”
Fast Forward (>»i)/Fast Backward { |<<)
The Fast Forward/Fast Backward feature works in both play and pause modes.
Press either the >Pt @ or K€ @ switch for more than 2 seconds.
To move the pickup forward rapidly, hold down the >Pt switch @.
To move the pickup backward rapidly, hold down the 44 switch @.
When the pickup reaches the end of the disc, it returns to the beginning automatically
from the end and playback will start from the beginning of the disc.
To resume normal play during fast forward or fast backward mode, lightly press the
same switch again.

Repeat (One)
The repeat feature allows you to continuously playback a single track.
1. Locate the music track of your choice using the Up { >») and DowN ( K€ ) switches.
2. Press the REPEAT switch ®. The “REPEAT” indicator @ appears on the display.
3. The music track shown in the display @ will be played back repeatedly.
4. To stop repeat playback, press the REPEAT switch ® a second time.
Random Play (M.I.X.)
Depress the M.1.X. Switch ® while in play or pause mode. Music tracks will be played back
in random sequence according to random number generated by the microprocessor. After
all the tracks on the disc have been played back once, the player will begin a new random
sequence. To cease the random play, press the M.I.X. Switch again.
Scan Play
This function allows playback of the first 10 seconds of each track in succession. This func-
tion is useful in searching for a specific program ahead on a disc. Push the SCAN switch @
to activate the scan mode. The track number being scanned will blink in the display. A sec-
ond push of the SCAN switch @ deactivates the function.
