Connector
Connect
the
8-pin
DIN
connector
(on
the
5952)
to
the
mating
connector
on
the
5953
audio
box.
The
5952
is
supplied
with
a
5
meter
DIN
extension
which
can
be
used
to
connect
the
1390
Tuner
mount
applications.
Changer
RCA
Connectors
Connect
to
the
RCA
connectors
on
the
5952
CD
Shuttle.
RED
is
Right;
WHITE
is
Left.
Input
RCA
Connectors
Connect
to
the
output
leads
of
an
auxiliary
Input
unit,
RED
is
Right;
WHITE
is
Left.
Front
Output
RCA

These
are
labeled
LINE
OUT
FRONT-LEFT
and
RIGHT.
Rear

OTE:
The
5953
uses
female
RCA
connectors
that
are
designed
to
connect
to
another
unit
(Source
unit,
signal
processor,
or
amplifier)
having
this
type
of
connectors.
You
may
need
an
adaptor
to
convert
the
other
unit
to
this
format.

so,
please
contact
your
authorized
Alpine
dealer
for
assistance.
Audio
Mute
Lead
(Labeled
AUDIO
INTERRUPT
IN)
(PINK/WHITE)
Applying
(+)12V
to
this
mutes
the
audio
output.
This
works
well
when
connecting
the
CD
Shuttle
system
with
an
Alpine
9510
or
9511
Cellular
Phone
equipped
with
Audio
Interface
output.
Removing
(+)12V
from
this
lead
deactivates
the
muting
circuit.
Power
Supply
Connector
Connect
to
the
Power
Wiring
Harness
(item
9
below).

Ground
Lead
(BLACK)
Connect
this
lead
to
a
good
chassis
ground
on
the
vehicle.
Make
sure
the
connection
is
made
to
bare
metal
and
is
securely
fastened
using
a
sheet
metal
screw.

BLUE,
RED,
and
YELLOW
leads
as
described
below.

Remote

Lead
(BLUE/WHITE)
Connect
to
the
remote
turn-on
lead
of
your
amplifier
or
signal
processor.
This
lead
provides
a
(+)12V
output
when
the
5953
is
turned
on
(0.5
Amp
maximum
current
draw).

Switched
Power
Lead
(Labeled
IGNITION)
(RED)
Connect
this
to
an
open
terminal
in
the
vehicle’s
fusebox
or
another
unused
power
source
that
provides
(+)12V
only
when
the
ignition
is
turned
on
or
in
the
accessory
position.

Your
must
be
very
careful
when
connecting
wires
to
the
vehicle's
electri-
cal
system.
Be
sure
you
do
not
interface
leads
that
are
being
used
for
