TAPE
PLAYER
OPERATION
1.
Turn
the
power
on
by
rotating
the
VOLume
control/Power
switch
@
clockwise.
With
the
tape
opening
to
the
right,
insert
the
cassette
into
the
loading
slot
@
as
far
as
it
will
go.
One
of
the
tape
direction
indicators
@
will
light
and
the
tape
will
start
playing.
If
a
metal
or
CrO,
cassette
tape
is
inserted,
the
tape
mechanism
automatically
sets
itself
for
70
usec
equalization.
If
a
Dolby
B-encoded
tape
is
used,
press
the
DOLBY
NR
B
switch
@,
to
activate
this
NR
feature.
Adjust
the
VOLume
@,
BASS
©,
TREBle
@,
BALance
@
and
FADer
®
controls
to
suit
your
listening
preference.
Tape
reverses
automatically
at
the
end
of
the
tape
to
play
the
other
side.
To
change
playback
from
side
A
to
play
side
B
(or
vice
versa)
before
the
end
of
the
tape
is
reached,
press
the
PROGRAM
switches
@.
To
stop
tape
play,
press
the
EJECT
switch
@.
To
turn
the
power
off,
fully
rotate
the
VOLume
CORUOUPOWE!
switch
@2
counterclockwise.
Winding
the
Tape
Rapidly
in
Forward
or
Reverse
Direction
1,
Press
the
PROGRAM
switch
(

or

until
it
locks
and
the
tape
will
run
rapidly
in
the
designated
direction.
2.
Lightly
press
the
other
switch
to
stop
the
Fast
Winding
mode.
The
tape
will
start
playing
again.
3.
When
the
Fast
Winding
operation
reaches
the
end
of
the
tape,
the
mode
will
automatically
switch
to
playback.
Tape
Pause
Push
the
TAPE
PAUSE
switch
@.
The
tape
disengages
from
the
tape
head,
capstan,
and
pinch
roller
while
the
cassette
remains
in
the
cassette
compartment.
The
mode
switches
from
tape
to
radio,
and
the
radio
frequency
will
be
displayed.
To
switch
from
radio
to
tape
mode
and
resume
tape
play,
press
the
TAPE
PAUSE
switch
@
again.
Music
Sensor
1.
With
Music
Sensor,
you
can
play
the
next
selection
ahead
on
the
tape
or
replay
the
current
selection.
To
play
the
next
selection
ahead,
press
the
M.S.
switch
@
then
check
to
see
which
way
the
tape
direction indicator
@)
is
pointing.
If

the

into
the
locked
position.
The
Music
Sensor
will
automatically
locate
the
next
selection
ahead
and
begin
playback.
If
the
tape

shows

automatically
locate
the
next
selection
ahead
on
the
tape.
To
replay
the
selection
currently
being
played,
press
the
M.S.
switch

and
if
the
tape
direction

into
the
locked
position
and
the
tape
will
automatically
rewind
to
the
beginning
of
the
song;
likewise,
if
the
tape
direction
indicator
shows
