  If the motor circuit breaker of your Alto Sander trips repeatedly, it could be due to an excessive load, a defective electronic start switch or motor circuit breaker, low voltage from a poor connection, a defective motor or capacitor, or operating on the wrong voltage or frequency. Verify the power supply matches what is marked on the motor nameplate. Readjust the leveling. Contact an authorized dealer.

  If the abrasive belt on your Alto Sander hunts (seeks), it may be due to worn neoprene washers, a worn sleeve bearing, or high edges on the contact wheel. Replace the washers. Check for excessive play and replace if necessary. Contact an authorized dealer or replace the contact wheel.

To resolve this, blow out the sanding chamber, remove and disassemble the mechanism, clean it, and replace any worn parts. Lubricate with WD-40.
