12.0 RS-485 COMMUNICATIONS, MODBUS RTU
12.1 The CD200D is compliant to the Modicon Modbus RTU standard. Maximum
number of registers that can be read at one time is limited to 32. Maximum
number of booleans that can be read at one time is limited to 256. All com-
munications are 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit. The baud rate is 9600. The
MODBUS address list follows:

WARNING: Writable Modbus registers
such as ‘0XXXX’ and ‘4XXXX’ directly
reference the CD200D non-volatile
memory. Non-volatile memory has a
useful life of ~100,000 Write/Erase
cycles. Any device writing to these reg-
isters must take care to not exceed the
maximum number of Write/Erase cycles.
