Terminal/Legend Description
GND, RESET FACP reset.
GND, FACP EOL Connects to EOL or next LINQ8PD(CB).
+ RET – FACP EOL or next LINQ8PD(CB).
FACP – IN + Wet input from FACP +.
FACP RLY 1, 2 FACP reporting relay.
BAT Local LED Indicates battery(ies) thresholds.
FACP/AC/BAT LEDs Indicates status of FACP, AC and Battery.
Heartbeat LED Indicates the LINQ8PD(CB) is operational.
RJ45
Ethernet: LAN or laptop connection enables LINQ8PD(CB) programming and
status monitoring.
USB Laptop connection enables LINQ8PD(CB) initial setup and programming.
Battery Fail
NC, C
Indicates low battery condition, e.g. connect to alarm panel. Relay normally
energized when DC power is present. Contact rating 1A @ 30VDC.
AC Fail
NC, C
Indicates loss of AC power, e.g. connect to audible device or alarm panel.
Relay normally energized when AC power is present.
Contact rating 1A @ 30VDC (power-limited).
– OUT1 + to – OUT8 + 24VAC/28VAC or 12VDC/24VDC continuous output.
