There are several reasons why your Alvarado Turnstile might not be unlocking: * **Power Issues:** For fail-lock units, the turnstile may not be receiving power. Check the power supply, switch, fuse, and control board LED. * **Spring Problems:** A missing, broken, or worn-out lock arm spring can prevent unlocking. * **Mechanical Obstruction:** The lock arm might be sticking or binding due to dirt or lack of lubrication. * **Solenoid Malfunction:** The solenoid could be dirty or defective, preventing proper unlocking.
