  If both the freezer and refrigerator sections of your Amana Refrigerator are too warm, start by checking if the temperature controls are set too warm and reset them if needed. A poor door seal can also cause this issue, so level the cabinet, adjust the hinges, and replace the gasket if necessary. Make sure the condenser and grille are clean and not obstructed. If the control is faulty, test it and replace it if it has failed. A refrigerant shortage or restriction could also be the problem; check for leaks or restrictions, then repair, evacuate, and recharge the system.

How to fix a noisy Amana Refrigerator?

  If your Amana Refrigerator is operating noisily, several factors could be the cause. Check if the flooring is loose or not firm, and repair or brace the floor if needed. Ensure the cabinet is level. Adjust any tubing that's in contact with the cabinet, other tubing, or other metal. If the drip pan is vibrating, adjust it. Make sure the fan is properly aligned and that all attaching hardware and brackets are tight and not worn; tighten or replace them as necessary. Inspect the fan motor for loss of lubricant or worn bearings and replace it if necessary. Tighten any loose mounting hardware and replace worn or missing compressor mounting grommets. Finally, inspect the unit for any free or loose parts or missing screws and repair as required.

  If the freezer section of your Amana Refrigerator is too cold, the freezer temperature control may be set too cold; adjust it. Also, a faulty control could be the cause; test it and replace it if it has failed. If the cold control capillary is not properly clamped to the evaporator, reposition the clamp and tighten it.
