Usage Features

Control Panel: Features a digital display showing cooking time, power level, and operational status (e.g., "READY," "COOK," "PROGRAM," "OP").
Pads:
- TIME ENTRY: Used to enter heating time without altering preprogrammed pads.
- Pads 1-0: Initiate heating with preprogrammed times and power levels, or for manual time entry.
- HOLD 0%, DEFROST 20%, MEDIUM 50%, MED-HI 70%: Select power levels. If no power level is chosen, the oven operates at 100%. A 0% setting allows for programmed time without heating.
- STOP/RESET: Exits programming mode, stops cooking, or clears the display.
- START: Initiates "Manual Time Entry," resumes interrupted cooking, advances to the next user option, or saves programmed times and power levels.
Preprogrammed Pads: The oven has 10-20 preprogrammed number pads, factory-set at full power, for quick heating. These can be reprogrammed for customized cooking times and power levels.
QTY 2X Pad: Allows for doubling the cooking time of a preprogrammed pad.
Manual Time Entry: Enables users to input custom cooking times and power levels without altering preprogrammed settings.
Multiple Heating Stages: The oven can be programmed to perform up to three consecutive heating cycles without interruption, useful for complex recipes or multi-step heating processes.
User Options: Customizable settings include:
- End of Cycle Beep: Options for 3-second continuous beep, continuous beep until door is opened (factory setting), or 5 beeps bursts.
- Speaker Volume: Low (60-70dB), medium (70-80dB), or high (80-90dB) (factory setting). Also an option to eliminate the beep.
- Key Beep: Prevents or allows a signal when a pad is pressed (allows signal is factory setting).
- Keyboard Enable Window: Sets the duration after the oven door is opened before the keyboard is disabled (30 seconds is factory setting, 2 minutes is an alternative).
- Add Time during Heating: Prevents or allows adding heating time while the oven is operating (allows adding time is factory setting).
- Reset Door Open: Cancels heating time countdown after the door is opened, or allows the oven to resume countdown (allows resume is factory setting).
- Maximum Heating Time: Limits heating time to 10 minutes or 60 minutes (60 minutes is factory setting).
- Manual Operation: Allows use of preprogrammed pads only, or allows use of both manual time entry and preprogrammed pads (allows both is factory setting).
Food Variables: The manual provides guidelines on how food shape, quantity, density, starting temperature, moisture, fat, and sugar content affect cooking time.
Manipulation of Foods: Recommendations for stirring, repositioning, and turning foods to ensure even heating.
Microwave Utensils: A list of recommended and not recommended materials for cooking containers and covers (e.g., glass/ceramic, plastic, wood are recommended; aluminum foil, metal, metallic-trimmed china are not).

Maintenance Features

Interior, Exterior, and Door Cleaning: Clean with mild detergent in warm water using a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleansers, ammonia-containing cleaners, and pouring water into the oven bottom. Boiling a cup of water can help loosen soil.
Discharge Air Vents: Check monthly for cooking vapor buildup and clean with a damp cloth to ensure proper airflow.
Control Panel: Clean with mild detergent in warm water using a soft sponge or cloth after opening the oven door to deactivate the timer.
Splatter Shields: Can be cleaned in place or removed by unscrewing (3 screws) for thorough cleaning with mild detergent. Replace before using the oven.
