Proper Finger Placement
Make sure the fingerprint image captured contains the core part of desired finger, because a fingerprint is the impression of the
friction ridges of all or any part of the finger. Also when enrolling a finger, use a slightly adjusted angle for each finger press, i.e, one
to the center, one inclined slightly to the left, and a third inclined slightly to the right. If these techniques are followed; the success
rate should increase dramatically.
The correct way to place a finger on the sensor is:
The user’s finger should completely cover the sensor. The finger should be placed flat and in the center of the sensor. The finger
should cover at least 80% of the sensor as shown below:
