Capacitance measurement
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! Never
test capacitance on live circuits. Safely discharge
capacitor before testing.
NOTICE
To avoid electric shock or
measurement errors, discharge the capacitor
under test before measuring. Turn off power
before using a conductor to short the pins of the
capacitor. Beware of sparks due to discharging.
• Set the function switch (E) to the Ω CAP
position.
• Insert the black connector lead (Q) into the
COM input jack (L).
• Insert the red connector lead (Q) into the
input jack (K).
