1 Restart Kindle 4
Method 1 Slide the power button for up to 30 seconds, and your Kindle will
reboot automatically. In this process, the green light besides your kindle power
button will blink and your kindle will go blank for a while, and it will restart itself
soon.
Method 2 Press the Menu button, then navigate to Settings. Then press the
Menu button again and Press "Restart" to restart your kindle dx.
2 Reset Kindle 4
Press the Menu button>>Settings>>then press the Menu again and you'll see
the "Reset to Factory Defaults" show in the drop-down menu. Press it to reset
your kindle to factory defaults.
