− Always lift the multi-slicer with both hands and by holding
on to the main unit. Never hold on to the filling tube.
− If necessary, place a non-slip mat underneath the
multi-slicer. As furniture is coated with various varnishes
and plastics and may be treated with different cleaning
products, it cannot be completely ruled out that some of
these substances contain components which may attack
and soften the rubber feet.

Checking the multi-slicer and package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointed objects, you may easily damage
the multi-slicer.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening the
packaging.
1. Take the multi-slicer out of the packaging and check whether the
multi-slicer or the individual parts have any damages. If this is the case, do
not use the multi-slicer. Contact the manufacturer using the service address
specified on the warranty card.
2. Check to make sure that all contents have been received (see Fig. A).
Basic cleaning
• Remove the packaging material and all protective foils.
• Clean all parts of the multi-slicer before first use as described in the chapter
“Cleaning”.
