Why does the 'Call for Service' icon appear on my American Standard ACONT202AS11MA Thermostat?
    • N
      Nicole GutierrezAug 23, 2025
The 'Call for Service' icon on your American Standard Thermostat can appear for several reasons: 1. The heating system cannot heat the space to within 10 degrees of the setpoint within 2 hours. See corrective action for “No Heat”. 2. The cooling system cannot cool the space to within 10 degrees of the setpoint within 2 hours. See corrective action for “No Cool”. 3. If "--" is displayed for the Room Temperature, a replacement thermostat is needed. 4. None of the buttons operate on the thermostat. Make sure keypad lockout is not turned on (denoted by icon).

Why does my American Standard ACONT202AS11MA Thermostat cycle too fast?
    • M
      Mary WilliamsAug 28, 2025
If your American Standard Thermostat cycles too fast or slow (resulting in a narrow or wide temperature swing), the location of the thermostat and/or the size of the Heating System may be influencing the cycle rate. Digital thermostats provide precise control and cycle faster than older mechanical models.
