To measure voltage stored in a battery.
1. Set the Rotary Switch to the range
that matches the battery under test.
• Selections are >a!, D! or >1B!.
2. Plug the red lead to the L8/'$ Jack.
Plug the black test lead into OIN jack.
3. Connect the red test lead to the
positive (+) terminal of the battery
and the black test lead to the
negative (-) terminal of battery.
4. Read the measurement
on the Meter Display.
QFKMLMR` To prevent damage to
the Meter, do not connect the Meter
to a battery with a voltage rating
exceeding 60 VAC or 30 VDC.
5. When testing is complete, turn
Rotary Switch to I;;, remove
Test Leads and store with Meter.
