7.4 V-belt
7.4.1
Che cking / Ten si on APR 22/40
Re mo ve V-belt gu ard.
Check V-belt for ten sion and con di tion.
Ten si on if ne ces sa ry
Uns crew the nuts (1) of the rub ber stops on the out si de.
Push the up per tray (2) up wards on both sides.
Both buff ers should be equally pre-tensioned.
Tighten nuts (1).
Crank the drive man u ally and re-check ten sion and cor rect if
nec es sary.
Re pla ce V-belt gu ard.
7.4.2 Che cking / Ten si on
APR 30/50; APR 30/60; APR 40/60
Re mo ve V-belt gu ard.
Check V-belt for ten sion and con di tion.
Ten si on if ne ces sa ry:
Loo sen set screws (4), do not uns crew.
In sert aux il iary tools (ø 6 mm) into bores (2) and (3).
Ten sion vee-belt by turn ing clutch halves in op po site di rec -
tions
Ten sion clutch halves. X= 10 mm.
Crank the dri ve ma nu al ly and re-check ten si on and cor rect if
ne ces sa ry.
Re pla ce V-belt gu ard.

7. Main ten an ce (Ma chi ne)

In ju ry ha zard.
Crush ing in ju ries can oc cur with an open-run ning belt
drive.

Do not start the en gi ne wit hout the V-belt gu ard.

It is im por tant to en su re that the fra me is also ac tu -
al ly pus hed on the rub ber stop con tact sur fa ces
and not just the rub ber ele ments are stret ched and
then spring back again. If ne ces sa ry ap ply light
blows with a ham mer to knock the rub ber stops
downwards.

Check the ten si on of the V-belt af ter 25 op. hrs.
again. Ad just the ten si on if ne ces sa ry.
